Sharing My Favorite Clean Swaps: Kids Products

Hi Friends!

It’s been a minute since we’ve been together. Lots of life has been happening in our little family: a move, homeschool, new church, new kids activities, and BIG lifestyle changes. Our family has been in a season of growth, and it’s been an incredible journey. We’re all learning so much and I couldn’t wait any longer to share some of that knowledge with you! One of the areas my family has focused on improving this past year is our health. I wanted to go further than just making smarter food choices and getting enough exercise. I started paying more attention to what products we purchase by learning more about the actual ingredients in the items we currently used. I was blown away at how many harmful chemicals were in products that were marketed as baby/kid friendly. I started learning everything I could about how to make better choices for my family. It has definitely been trial and error. Some products I would buy would have better ingredients but just didn’t work well. And you know I’m all about budget friendly options, so I tried to find products that were well priced. Since we use these products on a daily basis, they need to be affordable. I have FINALLY found incredible new staples for our home with products I trust. Not only do they contain much cleaner ingredients, but they also actually work! I’m so excited to share these with you!

I wanted to find laundry alternatives to the Dreft laundry and stain remover we currently had. Molly’s Suds is AMAZING! The clothes come out looking and smelling great. It is made up of only 4 ingredients and an organic essential oil for a scent or you can get unscented as well. This company was founded by a nurse and doesn’t use fragrances & dyes, formaldehyde, phosphates, or other harmful ingredients.

Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater

Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater spray WORKS! I was very hesitant but after treating my kids’ tough stains… I”M SOLD. This spray is nontoxic and remarkably effective. It does NOT contain any Peroxide, Chlorine, or Phosphates.

Genexa

Next on my list was switching to cleaner medicine! Again, it took testing a few brands before I found what worked best for my kiddos. Genexa offers a cleaner alternative in all the different areas your baby may need from pain & fever relief to seasonal allergy.

First Honey

First Honey’s Sterile Honey Ointment has been certified as a medical grade honey from a Family-Owned Bee Farm in New Zealand. They offer their Medical Grade Manuka Honey with no artificial antibiotics & no additives. We have been using this along with their Manuka bandages.

I hope this helps if you are searching for cleaner products to use in your home! I will be adding a link to other products we have currently switched to and would love to hear if you’ve found any as well.
