Hi new friends! I’m Kelsey Sutton - I grew up in a big family with six of us kids. Yep, a family of eight! Since there were so many of us my mom was always creative when it came to shopping for all our wants/needs. I was always fascinated when my mom told me what she paid for an item vs. the full retail price tag. Over the years I picked up several of her tricks and tips, so I’d like to think she taught me well.

I met my incredible husband in February of 2014 on his 21st birthday. (That’s a story for another time! HAHA) We were both broke college kids but were excited for our new adventure. We got engaged and I moved to Chattanooga where we lived off of his $900 football stipend. Both in school and planning/paying for a wedding meant I used every bargain tip I learned to make ends meet. We just look back and talk about how much joy this phase of life was. In a time that you would think would be scary and stressful was filled with love and adventure. This was when I learned a very valuable lesson. Money doesn’t equal happiness and we were doing just fine with our clearance finds and fabulous dupes.
fast forward 6 years later…
After another two big moves, several promotions, and 3 babies in 4 years the bargain hunting is saving our family thousands every single year.
